San Francisco based artist Natasha Tsozik specializes in botanical imagery and portraits. She likes to combine different techniques and mediums: drawing and painting, gold leaf and oils, markers, and watercolors.
Being a professional illustrator in the past, Natasha tends to do more graphic and figurative art, leaning towards pop surrealism.
Natasha Tsozik Fine Art shop corner also offers prints in various sizes, watercolor postcards, custom enamel pins, adorable iron-on patches, and more originals by me. All made with love.
The Dogpatch Goodies—new merch is now available in the studio (and soon online).
Melissa Mohammadi
Abstract artist
Living and working in the Bay Area. Immersive botanical landscapes on paper or pane will make you reimagine our natural world. Her work is in many private and public collections and has been exhibited nationally. Melissa was the one to introduce me to Open Studios and hosted me as well as other artists at her cozy home in South SF.

Hi! My name is Melissa Mohammadi and I am an artist living and working in the Delta of the San Francisco Bay. I draw, paint, print and collage works inspired by the resilient adaptations of botanical and marine lifeforms. My work is in an invitation to float and find respite, and a call for communion for our non-human earth-bound neighbors.
Natasha and I met 6 or 7 years ago, I think, when I lived in San Francisco and I invited her to join me in my studio space for Open Studios.
I was so happy to join her last year in her bright and peaceful Dogpatch studio for Artspan’s Open Studio weekend. We had a great time relaxing together and chatting with collectors, art-lovers, artists and friends who came by to visit.
This year will be especially fun as it’s the 50th anniversary of SF Open Studios! I feel so fortunate to be friends with Natasha, and to live in the Bay Area together where we have opportunities like this to connect to our community.
Krystal Lauk

Krystal Lauk is an artist and illustrator living in San Francisco. Her experience in running an illustration studio for many years informs the way she approaches fine art, through communicating in approachable and efficient ways, while reaching from the heart and soul in her work.
I will be opening my creative space to the public for ArtSpan’s SF Open Studios! Visit me on Oct.5-6 from 11am to 5pm to see where the magic happens. www.facebook.com/NatashaTsozik

ArtSpan evolved from SF Open Studios, begun in 1975 by a small group of enterprising artists who concurrently opened their studios to the public annually over one weekend to increase the accessibility of their work. Following the devastation of the 1989 earthquake, these artists created a strong organization to ensure SFOS would remain a San Francisco tradition, and in 1991, ArtSpan received its nonprofit, tax-exempt status. SFOS has grown exponentially; now spanning multiple weeks with over 800 participating artists and 100,000+ visitors.
ArtSpan continues to build a more resilient creative future with year-round artist-supporting programs advancing the creative careers of hundreds.
ArtSpan’s 50-year history is rooted in supporting artists through unprecedented times; from earthquakes to astronomical real estate surges, and variables beyond our control, we continue to adapt to serve our local creative community.
